Renovation of the Department of Surgery, including building new operating rooms, waiting rooms, exam rooms, restroom facilities, and staff areas. Work included major additions and upgrades to the electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems serving the Department of Surgery and adjacent areas, lead-lined doors, frames, walls and windows, new finishes, wall protection, and custom millwork cabinets, counters and desks. This project was completed in five phases, around occupied spaces and in the midst of continuing hospital activity.
